iOS Devices (iPhones/iPads)

 

Prerequisites:

  • Make sure iOS device is on the latest update
  • Make sure you are using at least 6 digits and are not simple (example: 111111 or 123456)

Guide:

  1. Navigate to jgold.app/apple on your iPad or iPhone and install Company Portal.
  2. Open the Company Portal app and sign in with your JGC account.
  3. When prompted to receive Company Portal notifications, tap Allow. This will help you stay informed of any actions you need to take to make your device more secure and maintain work access.
  4. On the Set-up access screen, tap Begin.
  5. You will be prompted with the Privacy information of company portal. Select Continue and then Continue Again.
  6. You will receive a pop-up asking if you would like to Allow company portal to install a management profile. Select Allow.

  1. Go to the Settings app and at the top select Profile Downloaded. If neither options appear, go to General and select the VPN & Device Management option to view installed profiles. Tap Install. Enter your device password. Then tap Install again and Trust when asked to trust the profile.

 

 

                                                                               

 

  1. Go back to the Company Portal app and select Continue. Select if your device is a Personal Device or a Company Owned Device.
  2. You may receive pop-ups to install or manage apps on your device. Select Install or Manage on all pop-ups.
  3. Press Continue and your device will check security settings on your device. Once completed, your device will be enrolled.

***REBOOT YOUR DEVICE***

 

Windows Device

 

Prerequisites:

  • Make sure windows device is on the latest update
  • Make sure you are using at least an 8-character password.
  1. Navigate to jgold.app/windows and install Company Portal.
  2. Open the Company Portal app and sign in with your JGC account.
  3. Allow the device to be managed by J. Goldman LP

 

***REBOOT YOUR DEVICE***

 

 

Mac Device

 

Prerequisites:

  • Make sure your Mac device is on the latest update
  • Make sure you are using at least an 8-character password.

 

  1. Navigate to jgold.app/mac and install Company Portal.
  2. Install the application that gets downloaded
  3. Open Company Portal
  4. Sign in to the Company Portal app with your work or school account.
  5. On the Set up access page, select Begin.
  6. Review the privacy information. Then select Continue.
  7. On the Install management profile page, select Download profile.
  8. Your macOS system settings open in a new window. The management profile you just downloaded is shown.

 

  • Select the profile to open it.
  • Select Install...
  • When asked to confirm installation, select Install.
  • Enter your device password to allow the profile to enroll your device. Then select Enroll.
  • Wait while the management profile installs and then enrolls your device.

 

  1. Go back to Company Portal App and select Done
